CreativeStudio contains three different variations of a save, each of each perform a different function. Please see the list below for a description of each.
- Save when Printing: This option saves a print-ready copy of your file to the 'Print Jobs' section of your Administration Panel (for more information about the Administration Panel, refer to this article which details the process of deleting previous saved content) and is performed as a part of the printing process. This type of save is specifically used for the Print Jobs history and cannot be imported into other designs or modified in any way before printing.
- Save as Design: This option saves an editable version of your design that can be used and modified later. This differs from saving as an image (described below) in that you cannot import a design onto another design. If you wish to use your design in conjunction with another, you'll first need to save as an image. Saving as a Design is available when using the 'Save' button within CreativeStudio Designer. You will want to ensure the dialog box that appears has 'My Designs (editable)' selected, as illustrated below:
- Save as Image: This option saves a non-editable version of your design that can be used but NOT modified later. This option is particularly useful when you are wanting to use the content of your design in conjunction with another design. Saving as an Image is available when using the 'Save' button within CreativeStudio Designer. You will want to ensure the dialog box that appears has 'My Images (Non-editable)' selected, as illustrated below:
